Baby Said share new single | Manchester gig in April
Baby Said have shared their new single Take Everything which features on their upcoming album BS.
The debut album lands on 7 March ahead of a run of UK tour dates including a gig at YES Manchester. The Manchester gig is one of five UK dates they will play supporting James and the Cold Gun.
Speaking about the track the sisters Veronica and Jess Pal said, ” Everything is about the feeling of passing through life wearing a grey lens. It’s about feeling like you’re giving your all whilst others are just taking and despite all your effort, whatever you do is never good enough. Take Everything shows the exhaustion of trying for others even though they are abandoning you.”
New seven track album BS was recorded with Patch Boshell and Steven Battelle which had previously worked with them on Mean Girlz, Dead to Me and Hate Me. The album was recorded over a period of a few months with the aim of maintaining a raw feeling.
As well as their upcoming UK run, Baby Said will also perform at SXSW in Austin as well as Stockton Calling and Focus Wales.
