It’s been a week which has seen new releases from Sabrina Carpenter, Fletcher and more. Here we pick up some of the recent releases and announcements which caught our ears:
Cynthia Erivo – I Forgive You Grammy, Tony and Emmy Award Winner (not to mention three-time Academy Award nominee) Cynthia Erivo shares her new full-length solo album I Forgive You. The album lands via Verve Records/Republic Records.
Sabastian Schub – Sing Like Madonna Sebastian Schub releases his debut EP, Sing Like Madonna. The seven-track EP features Sebastian’s first single, and the EP’s title track, Sing Like Madonna, alongside recent single Scared of Screamingand the tender Be Still. Recent fan live favourite Blisters & Sunburnalso features. The EP was mostly recorded in Barry, Wales.
Sabrina Carpenter – Manchild The two-time Grammy Award winning, record-breaking global megastar Sabrina Carpenter enters a new era with her latest single Manchild via Island Records. Sabrina wrote Manchildalongside her frequent collaborator, Amy Allen and also joined forces once again with Jack Antonoff for the single. Both Grammy Award winners, Amy and Jack previously worked with Sabrina on Short n’ Sweet.
Bellah Mae – Sting Rising British pop artist Bellah Mae returns with her new single Sting. The track marks a clapback to exes and opens the next stage of the Solihull-born singer-songwriter’s career.
Fletcher – Boy Fletcher has dropped her new single Boy – delving into her experience of falling in love with a man, confusion and challenging expectations and embracing her fluid queer identity. The artist has also confirmed that she will release her third studio album, Would You Still Love Me If You Really Knew Me? on 18 July via Capitol Records.
Cian Ducrot – tour announcement
Cian Ducrot has announced a run of record store dates across the UK to celebrate the release of his new album Little Dreaming which lands on 11 July 2025. The run includes an appearance at Liverpool’s Rough Trade on 14 July.
Elliot James Reay – tour announcement
After dropped his last track (Who Knew Dancing Was A Sin), Elliot James Reay confirms details of his 2025 UK tour which opens with a Manchester gig at Gorilla on 6 July.
Olivia Dean – album news Olivia Dean has announced her second album The Art of Loving which lands on 26 September. The album follows the success of her 2023 debut Messy. She heads out on tour with Sam Fender on his headline tour opening this Friday.
