Florence Sommerville to release debut album Endless Horizon
Essex-born singer-songwriter Florence Sommerville will release her debut album Endless Horizon in July. The album lands as a 12-track digital download and on CD, with the release including four exclusive acoustic bonus tracks on CD only.
The album draws on Florence Sommerville’s roots in British country and Americana, blending poignant lyrics with textured arrangements. Songs such as Molasses, which tackles father-daughter mental abuse, and Forget The Water explore emotional complexities, while Cut And Run offers a lighter, summery tone. She journeys through upheavals faced in relationships from teh discovery of first love to the hearache of breackup and the impossibility of a love that cannot be.
Earlier singles including (I’ll Be Your) Best Broken Heart, California, and Broken Pieces are already available on DSPs. The full album will not be released on streaming platforms initially.
