Carter Faith announces debut album Cherry Valley, shares new single
Cherry Valley set for October release via MCA Nashville
Carter Faith has announced her debut album Cherry Valley, confirmed for release on Friday 3 October 2025 via MCA Nashville.
The rising Nashville-based artist has also unveiled her latest track, Sex, Drugs and Country Music, available now to stream. The single offers another preview of the long-awaited album and follows previously released tracks Grudge and If I Had Never Lost My Mind…, both of which feature on the 15-track collection.
“Cherry Valley means everything to me,” said Carter Faith. “Every time I have slipped into a dark place (which I have a propensity for), this album has brought me out of it. I know that I wrote the songs but they still carry reminders for me every day when I relisten. Some of the songs have even transformed for me and mean something different now. The world of Cherry Valley has been a safe and freeing place for me and everyone who has worked so hard on this record. I have truly created this album with my best friends, which feels surreal. It feels like it belongs to all of us, because it does.”
The album chronicles Faith’s move from North Carolina to Nashville, charting heartbreaks, triumphs and self-discovery across its track list. Created with longtime producer Tofer Brown, Cherry Valley took shape across two years before sessions began in 2024.
With Cherry Valley being her creative home, the record draws influence from Tammy Wynette, Nancy Sinatra, Pet Sounds and Revolver — merging classic and contemporary country sounds. Since her debut, she has played the Opry multiple times and supported Willie Nelson on stage, while also signing with MCA and Universal Music Publishing Group.
Carter Faith’s most recent EP, The Aftermath, released in autumn 2024, featured a duet with Alison Krauss and was widely praised.
