Carter Faith shares new single Bar Star and unveils surprise bonus track
Carter Faith shares Bar Star – debut album Cherry Valley lands soon
Rising Nashville artist Carter Faith has released her new single Bar Star, offering a look at her upcoming debut album Cherry Valley. The song arrives alongside a surprise bonus track, Billy Bob Thornton (Worktape).
Speaking about the new single, Carter Faith said, “‘Bar Star’ is a fun song about a lovable honky-tonk man. In simple terms, he’s the star of the bar—for better or for worse—but damnit, she loves him.”
On the unexpected bonus track, she added, “I wrote this song about Billy Bob Thornton because I literally love him. I’ve always thought he was so talented, and I’ve wanted to marry many of the characters he’s played over the years. I just had to write about it, and I hope people like this little glimpse into my one-track mind.”
Bar Star follows previous album teasers If I Had Never Lost My Mind…, Grudge, and Sex, Drugs and Country Music.
