Midge Ure announces A Man Of Two Worlds Tour

A Man Of Two Worlds heads to Manchester in 2026

Acclaimed artist Midge Ure will perform at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall in May 2026 as part of his new A Man Of Two Worlds Tour. The tour will see Midge Ure perform 21 dates across the UK in May and June 2026, with the shows blending classic hits and rarely heard instrumentals into a unique live journey.  The tour also includes a Liverpool gig at the Philharmonic Hall.

The immersive tour promises a seamless sonic narrative, pairing fan favourites with cinematic instrumentals from across Midge Ure’s four-decade career. The tour follows his sold-out 70th birthday Royal Albert Hall show in 2023 and a major UK run in 2024.

“This is my two worlds coming together,” said Midge Ure. “Almost every album I have made over the last 40+ years has featured at least one instrumental track. Instrumental music is one of my main loves…”

He added, “I realised most of these have never been performed live. So my intention on this tour is to seamlessly insert some of these atmospheric, cinematic instrumentals between a selection of hits and favourite album tracks… to take the audience on a journey rather than just play a list of individual songs. This will be an immersive experience for the audience both visually and sonically.”

With a legacy spanning Slik, The Rich Kids, Ultravox, and Visage — as well as his role in co-writing Do They Know It’s Christmas? — Midge Ure remains a towering presence in British music.
