Pistol Daisys share new single Honey ahead of debut EP

Dark disco-pop with a confessional twist

Glasgow alt-pop trio Pistol Daisys have released their latest single Honey via OneRPM Records, paired with B-side Wolves. Built on shimmering synths and disco-pop energy, Honey dives into the darker side of relationships, exploring what it means to be the villain, crossing a line and leaving damage behind.

Speaking about the single, vocalist Belly said: “Sometimes it’s easier to pretend you’re innocent. But we wanted to write about owning the part of you that can be selfish or reckless. ‘Honey’ is about knowing you’ve been the problem and still feeling drawn to the sweetness of it.

The B-side, Wolves, continues this darker theme, shifting from regret to defiance as the narrator reclaims their power.

Co-written by Belly, Rachel Mutujal and Lorna Johnston, the track balances infectious hooks with raw confessional lyrics. Both Honey and Wolves were produced by drummer Lewis Kelly, pushing the band’s sound further into modern alt-pop while keeping their trademark honesty and melodic flair.

Debut EP due October 2025

The single arrives ahead of Pistol Daisys’ debut EP, set for release in October 2025. Alongside new music, the band are gearing up for a busy run of summer festivals and a European tour taking in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK.
