Manchester singer and songwriter Kate Gambhir is set to release her new single Not Just For The Evening, a track which started as a joke between friends.
Kate Gambhir is a Manchester based singer and songwriter. In 2021 she changed her artist name from Kate Anita to her birth name Kate Gambhir.
Kate Gambhir is influenced by artists including Gabrielle Aplin, Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift and Jessie Ware.
Amongst Kate Gambhir’s releases are the 2018 single Human which was accompanied by a mini-documentary showcasing the culture, community and strength of her home city, Manchester.
She also released the charity single When People Wanna Talk They Call, with proceeds donated to Royal Voluntary Service (Manchester) and Music Venue Trust’s Save Our Venues campaign. The video, released during the pandemic featured a collection of video calls from fans, friends and family members in the hope of encouraging people to reach out to their loved ones.
